We are committed to protecting your privacy and collect, store, use, and disclose personal information responsibly and transparently when we deliver government services and conduct government busines.

We understand that visitors and users of our website are concerned about their privacy and the confidentiality and security of information that is provided to us.

The Queensland Government has introduced Information Standard No. 42 Information Privacy, which outlines its privacy policy for the Queensland public sector. This information standard is based on 11 information privacy principles, which we must comply with.

Site Usage

This site will not attempt to load any programs or cookies onto your computer or take any information from your computer. When you look at this website, we do not record any of your details.

Because this is a Queensland Government website, we treat correspondence that is emailed to us as a public record and retain it in accordance with the Public Records Act 2002 and relevant regulations.

We will not add your name and address details to a mailing list unless you specifically request this. We will not disclose these details to third parties unless we have your consent or we are required to do so by law.

Email and feedback information

Our website support officers monitor email messages for system troubleshooting and maintenance purposes. Where appropriate, we will reply to emails sent to our website support team. Some emails may be forwarded to appropriate departmental officer for action.
